Get your export in 4 steps
Instagram usually prepares the file within a few hours, but it can take up to 30 days.
Open the export page
Open Export your information in Accounts Center.
Export to device
Click Create export, pick your profile, click Next and choose Export to device.
Pick all time and JSON
Set the date range to All time and the format to JSON, then click Start export. HTML exports will not work here. We recommend low media quality.
Drop the zip
Instagram emails you when the file is ready. Download it within 4 days and drop it above.

Do I need to enter my Instagram password?

The report reads JSON files; HTML exports will not work here.
When does the file arrive?
